Post Your Links Here...

Author: Ren Withnell

Oh Lordy! Google is no longer giving extra brownie points for reciprocal links! For some in the SEO business you would have thought the end of the world is upon us.

So, one way links are ""in"", particularly if they are relevant. Well, I cannot offer relevance but I am quite happy for people to post on my shiny new website. ""Now, why would he do that?"" you're asking yourself. It's not because I'm a nice boy who helps old ladies across the road is it?. No, it's because I want content.

What? Now you're thinking ""Cheeky swine! He's gonna ask for 10,000 word essays in return for one shoddy link back to my site."" Nope. It's up to you how much you write, but as anyone who understands the tiniest bit about SEO, a bit of text is like honey to search engines.

It works like this. You get a page to fill out your ""posting"". You type your name, page title, link URL, and your text, then post it to me. I look at it, I check the link works, I check your site is not offensive or illegal and if I approve, it goes in the listing. The search engines come and visit my site, pick up on YOUR text which is hopefully full of keywords and informative information, spot your link and record a one way link back to you.

Me, I get a website full of your links and lots of juicy copy for the search engines to lap up.

Have a look, what have you got to loose? Show And Tell
